Kathryn Reed

Kathryn Reed, 90 of Pickerington, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013. She was born June 15, 1922 in Columbus to the late Harry and Mae (Williams) Fisher. She was retired from Harts as a clerk and was very active in the Reynoldsburg Senior Citizens and Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling to destinations such as Hawaii, New York and Tiajuana. She loved her grandkids, Fox News and German Schnauzers. She was ornery, stubborn, talkative, active, social and a good friend. She is preceded in death by sister Mabel, brother Charles, husband Leroy and daughter Sandra Orwig. She is survived by sons Charles (Cheryl), John (Nancy), grandchildren Richard Reed, Jennifer Viciedo, Robyn (Carl) Burkhart, Deann Sharp, Steven Price and Dwight Orwig, nine great grandchildren including Devin Burkhart and Maxwell Viciedo. Family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Forest Lawn Cemetery Chapel. Interment in Forest Lawn. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Clear Hope Hospice of Fairfield County.
