Katie Madison

Emily Kathryn “Katie” Madison, age 63, of Pickerington, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 22, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born September 10, 1949 in Beckley, WV to the late Tracy and Edna Mae (James) Miller. Katie grew up in Beaver, WV and was a graduate of Morton High School and Morton College in Cicero, IL. She was a registered nurse. Katie was a member of Reynoldsburg Alliance Church where she shared her musical talents and was a Sunday School Teacher. A humble lady, she made people feel welcome and made them feel special. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Peter C. Madison; son, Matthew James Madison; brother, Ben (Shirley) Miller and their children Bryan Miller and Cindy (Nick) McCarthy along with son, Colton; sister, Janie Deibler; cousins and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Lillian Madison. Family will receive friends 5-9pm Friday, December 28, 2012 at Reynoldsburg Alliance Church, 751 Rosehill Rd., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 where services will be held Saturday at 10am; Pastor John Ennis, officiating; interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in memory of Emily “Katie” Madison.
