Keitha Prather, 80, passed away February 13, 2013 in Columbus. She was born July 10, 1932 in Stoutsville, the daughter of Starling and Dorothy (Justus) Knecht. She was preceded in death by her parents and two great nephews, Kyle and Chase Knecht in 2004.
She was an OSU graduate and an avid Buckeye fan. She taught school in the Columbus school system for 30 years.
Keitha is survived by two brothers, Ron (Pat) Knecht of Circleville and Larry (Joyce) Knecht of Lakeland, Florida; five nephews; and eleven great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being made with Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
