

Ken was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 9, 1939. He graduated from Brush High School and continued on to receive a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
Ken worked and retired as a Chief Financial Officer for Kindt Collins.
He was a devoted Christian and a proud, active member of the World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He spent a majority of his time reading religious devotionals.
Ken served as an honorable addition to the United States Marine Corps for 6 years which remained a very important aspect throughout the rest of his life.
He loved spending time outside gardening and enjoying nature. Ken was always searching out new recipes to try in the kitchen. He enjoyed watching the OSU Buckeyes play football whenever he could. He had a strong passion for animals and never missed an episode of a veterinary show on television. A warm smile was how he greeted everyone and will definitely be missed.
Ken is survived by his children Jessica DeSalvo (Joe), Chad Hartman (Jessica), Ashleigh Jensen (Jake), Kurt Hartman, and Todd Hartman. He also was blessed with three grandchildren and six fur grandbabies.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents Norman William Hartman and Lauretta Clara Hartman, as well as his brother Dale Hartman.
A celebration of Life will be held on October 16, 2021, from 1pm-4pm at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to either the Columbus Zoo or the COPD Foundation in his name.
