

Krste P. Stavreff, age 89, passed away at home, Saturday, March 17, 2012. Krste was born in Macedonia, son of the late Pande and Lubica Stavreff. He is also preceded in death by his son, Mirce, siblings, Boris, Goga, and Cena, and son-in-law, Dance Cabilovski. Krste worked as a farmer in Macedonia before moving to America in 1968. He retired from Mt. Carmel Health where he was a supervisor with environmental services. Krste was a very caring and fun-loving man who had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed taking care of his rose bushes, gardening, was a Buckeye and Columbus Crew fan, but most all, Krste loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Zivka Stavreff; children, Zora Cabilovski and Michael (Lence) Stavreff; grandchildren, Tony Cabilovski, Lori (Robert) Govekar, and Christopher and Boris Stavreff; great grandchildren, Morgan and Dillon Govekar; siblings, Nikola, Nikolina, Rodna, and Verga; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Friends may call Monday, March 19, 2012 from 5-8 P.M. and Tuesday March 20, 2012 from 9-10 A.M. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M.
