Kyle T. Knox

Kyle Thomas Knox, age 37 of Gahanna, passed away August 31, 2011. Kyle was born in Columbus and raised in Gahanna, son of Gary and Becky Knox. As a youngster growing up, Kyle was an excellent athlete. He played basketball, baseball and football. Growing up, Kyle enjoyed spending his spring break in Florida and summer trips to Michigan with family and friends. He graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School, Class of 1992, and following worked a number of years as a Certified Electrician. Colorado was also someplace Kyle traveled to frequently. There was something about it that made him feel at peace and gave him the strength to move forward. While there, he enjoyed skiing and snowboarding and was always able somehow to handle life on his own. Most recently, Kyle had the opportunity to reconnect with his daughter Sierra. He truly enjoyed the time he was able to spend with her and cherished the memories he had of her. Throughout Kyle’s life, he tried to remain connected with God in his own way. His spirituality and faith was something that may have been non traditional, but his beliefs and love of God were always constant. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lenamae Starrett. He will be missed by his parents, Gary and Becky Knox; sister, Kelli (Patrick) Chittenden; nephew, Charley Chittenden; daughter, Sierra Stephens; paternal grandparents, John and Dede Knox; and numerous extended family members and dear friends. No public funeral services to be held.
