Lacey “Skeens” Damron, age 88, died on Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was born in Greasy Creek, KY on January 16, 1924 to the late Robert and Lora Adkins. Lacey has lived in Columbus for the last 60 years. She retired from Celanese Plastics after a long and successful career. Lacey was a member of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal. She loved to garden and cook for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sons, Mack (Max) and Sammy Skeens; grandson, Rodger Thacker, Jr.; and sisters and brothers. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Ratliff Friedlander, Mary Elizabeth Skeens Yates, Dewanna Sue Skeens Maddox, and Frances Skeens Sarnovsky; grandchildren, Lori Thacker, Michael Skeens, Harriet Louise Yerian, Randall Friedlander, Kelly Sarnovsky Brooks, Joshua Sarnovsky; numerous great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Friends may call from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2012at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL 5360 E. Livingston Ave. where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 9, 2012. Fr.
