Lani A. Herrli DVM, age 54 passed away at Doctor's West Hospital on Monday, August 22, 2016. Lani was very proud of her Doctorate degree from The Ohio State University. She also taught at both Mississippi State University and The Ohio State University in Exotic Veterinary Medicine. She raised 2 boys for 12 years while maintaining her Veterinarian license before reentering the veterinary practice at Healthy Pets of Hilliard. She had a love for the outdoors and all animals especially horses. She also won numerous awards for equestrian riding.
Lani is preceded in death by her mother, Frances M. (Quint) Steinohrt; brother, Billy Steinohrt. She is survived by her loving husband, Tom of 15 years, sons, Caleb and Josh; father, William Steinohrt, brother, Matt Steinohrt and many family members. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 28 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Private funeral and interment will be held at a later date.
