

Larry E. Bell, age 88, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Born on September 5, 1936, in Glouster, Ohio, to Edward and Ghila (Brown) Bell, Larry graduated from Shadyside High School in 1956 and proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked for Sunoco Gas Company until his retirement, then joined the family at Little’s IGA on Parsons Avenue. A dedicated Mason since 1965, Larry was a member of Pataskala Masonic Lodge #404 F&AM, Aladdin Shriners (where he participated in the Clown Brigade), and Moose Lodge #11. He cherished the time spent with his beloved wife, Lola, especially during their travels around the country, often trying their luck at the casino—a little adventure they enjoyed together. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Lola; sisters Sheila Brewer and Margaret Bier. He is survived by his brother Jack Bell; children, Kimberly (Terry) Moore, John Presley Jr., Mark (Cathi) Bell, Konnie (Mike) Nichols and Sherry (Ronald) Bell; grandchildren, Tori Weber, Dana Weber, Amanda Staszak, Samantha Staszak, and Robert Beavers; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, with a Masonic Service at 6:15 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home by Schoedinger Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery with military honors.
