

Larry Braden Clark Sr., 80, of Columbus went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, October 23, 2012 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born February 7, 1932, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Pearl and Thelma (Braden) Clark. Larry was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of American Legion Post 0430. He worked for Kroger, and then for I.B.M. for 32 years, retiring May 1987. Larry was married to his first wife (who preceded him in death) Dorothy M. Ingram for 38 years. He married his current wife, Betty J. (Wedebrook) Campbell, June 15, 1996. Larry is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Larry (Sandra) Clark II; daughter, Maria Clark; stepson, W. Norman (Becky) Campbell; stepdaughter, Brenda Campbell (Keith) Gregory; grandsons, Andrew Clark, Scott (Karen) Evans, Johnathan (Elaine) Gregory, Michael (Amy) Campbell, Corey (Erica) Campbell, Logan Beekman; granddaughters, Jessica Clark, Sarah (Buck) Martin and 11 great-grandchildren; also survived by his brother, Daryl (Barbara) Clark; cousins and several nieces of Cocoa Beach, FL and many friends. Larry was a member of The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, Walnut Chapter No. 172, The Grand Lodge of F&AM of Ohio Lockbourne Lodge No. 0232, The Valley of Columbus Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, The Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus. He was an active TANA Neighborhood Civic Group, and The CPAAA. He was also a member of the Walnut Heights Baptist Church in Columbus. Friends may call 4-7pm (with a 4pm Masonic Service conducted by Lockbourne Masonic Lodge 0232) on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where services will be held at 1pm Friday; Pastor Ralph Clay, officiating; interment will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estate with Military Honors.
