

Larry Wayne Harris, age 60, of Columbus, OH passed away Monday, December 20, 2010. He was greeted into eternal life by his soul-mate, Diane Vangelos and his parents Herbert and Mary Harris. Larry graduated from Marion Franklin High School in 1969 and then served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Upon his return, he was hired by DCSC, and worked hard establishing his career there until the time of his retirement. Larry lived his life to the fullest, enjoying work, golfing, working in his beautiful back yard and above all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Tina LeMaster (Gary), Rocky Harris (Christy); Tony Harris (Amber) and Angie Harris (Matt Hamilton) and their mother, Larry’s wife of 22 years, Kathy Harris. He was the proud grandfather of Jared Harris, Randy Monroe, Emma Harris, Chloe Harris, Brianna Mullins, Brayden Harris, Aleah Harris and Madeline Hamilton; Larry also leaves behind 2 brothers, Herbie Harris (Angie) of Winterhaven, FL and Gary Harris (Debbie) of West Jefferson, OH and many friends from work as well as his neighborhood family who looked out for his well-being since the passing of Diane in 2009. Funeral Services, with military honors, will be held at 6pm Monday, December 27, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City where the family will receive friends 12-2 and 5-6pm Monday; Rev. Jeff Bane, officiating.
