La'Von Maxine Rush

La'Von Maxine Rush (nee, Cooley), age 78, of Dublin, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 25, 2014, with her family at her side. She was born September 23, 1935 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Emmaline (Spencer) and James Cooley. La'Von graduated from Linden-McKinley High School, class of 1954, and married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Rush, who preceded her in death. She was sociable and enjoyed shopping and dining with friends and family. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Dee Rush, and Michael and Julie Rush; grandchildren, Craig and Jennifer Rush; brother and sister-in-law Quentin and Natalie Cooley; nephews Timothy and Christopher Cooley; sister-in-law, Karen Rush-Jones and her husband Don and their son Morgan. Family will welcome friends from 6-8pm Monday, April 28, 2014 and 12-1pm Tuesday at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229 where services will begin at 1pm on Tuesday; interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate; Chaplain John Cramton, officiating.
