Lawrence J. "Jeff" Fields, 57, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 26, 2015. He was born June 27, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a long haul truck driver for Werner Enterprises. He loved NASCAR and wrenching on cars. There wasn't anything that Jeff couldn't fix or make better. He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Fields and brother, Howard Fields. Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Fields; children, Jennifer Henry, Darrell Henry, and Natasha (Hugo) Garcia; grandchildren, Brandon and Makayla Johnston, Makenzie Puckett, and Lydia, Lucia, and Lucas Garcia; mother, Helen Fields; brothers, Leo (Cheryl) Arledge, William (Peggy) Fields, and Kevin (Corina) Fields; sisters, Karen (Mike) Carl and Diana Canterbury; best friend, Larry Blanton and his fiancée, Ranelle Fugitt; special friends, Larry and Jennifer Heide; 9 nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will follow at 4 PM.
