Lawrence Nicholas Hogan

L. Nicholas "Nick" Hogan, age 66, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2016 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by parents John and Catherine and siblings John and Marie McCarthy. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen (Kaeser), and their children Ryan and Sr. Elizabeth, CFR (Cailin); three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was born in Cincinnati, OH, graduated from Xavier University and received his Master's Degree from Ohio State University. He spent his career in the insurance industry and built a successful business, Insurance Advisors; served as a Councilman-at-Large in Gahanna from 1993 - 2007; was a member of Kiwanis and Knights of Columbus at St. Matthews. Nick enjoyed traveling, camping and his grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna and again at 10AM on Wednesday prior to processing to St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd, Gahanna for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM with Fr.
