Coach White, After you told me you were dying we never spoke again, not for my lack of trying.  You were a great teacher and a fun caring coach.  Being captain of one of your teams and, you selecting me as MVP will never be forgotten.  I only wish I could have had the opportunity to say good bye in person. As a high school teacher at Dover Air Force Base High School Les White influenced many of us in ways that he probably never knew. He will be missed. Martelle Forbes (Martie Bailey DAFBHS 1974)

There are a handful of teachers from Dover AFB HS that I think of often and Mr. White is one of them. He made a strong impression on me and I'm very sad to hear of his passing.
