Lewis “Zane” Bever, age 80, of Pataskala, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his home. He was born in October, 1942 in Somerset, Ohio, the son of the late Fred and Sara Bever. Zane was a very athletic kind of guy, he loved softball and basketball, playing well into his 70s. Three words to describe Zane would be, wonderful, selfless, and kind-hearted. Zane will be missed and remembered for his heart of gold, love for his family (including all adopted in members) and his loving personality. Surviving Zane is his loving wife of 56 years, Shirley Bever; Children Tina (Tim) Heizman; Daren Bever and longtime girlfriend Stephanie and Misty Bever; Grandchildren Jessica Carmen, Joshua Carmen, Tyler Heizman, Tarissa Weghorst, Trace Heizman, Trent Heizman, J.J Carmen, Jayden Carmen; Siblings Laine Dotter, Scott Bever, and Trent Bever.
