Likow Simon Chang went to be with the Lord peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Justine; and his beloved dog, Sunshine. Private arrangements for the family entrusted to the Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, (614) 224-6105.
We graciously decline flower arrangements and gifts of condolence, but greatly appreciate visits to www.schoedinger.com to extend condolences.
Simon graduated from Ohio State University with a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering. He became a professor, and then worked with GTE, and later with the Department of Defense.
He was a wonderful person who always greeted everything with a great smile. He deeply enjoyed traveling, trekking to more than 50 countries. He loved history, stamps collecting and college football – he was a stalwart Buckeye fan, never missing a single game. He enjoyed getting to know people from all around the world – their past, their daily life, their dreams, their hopes. People found it easy to speak to him, his cheerful charisma brightening everyone he conversed with. He loved his family deeply, and was cherished by all.
