

Linda Ann Amos (59) passed away too soon on Sunday, 23, September 2018, in Gig Harbor, WA from a rare progressive cortical basal frontal lobe degenerative brain disorder of unknown origin. Noticeable symptoms started in 2011 but she wasn't diagnosed until 2014. Linda was born on September 27, 1958, in Portsmouth, Scioto Co. Ohio. The third and youngest daughter of Robert Carl Amos and Elta Gay (Brown) Amos, whom she is now with in heaven.
Linda graduated from Grove City High School in 1976. She enjoyed choir, marching band, football games and make friends everywhere she went. She was a lifelong fan of the Ohio State Football team. O-H-I-O Go Bucks!
Linda loved camping, traveling, scuba diving, snow skiing, ski patrol, sewing, traveling and adventuring all over the USA and Mexico throughout her life. She was a very happy person who loved life. She will be sorely missed by all. For several years she volunteered for the Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Dive Posse and for the Sunrise Ski Resort ski patrol in the mountains N.E. of Phoenix, AZ, and at Mad River Mountain near Bellefontaine, OH.
Linda worked as a Para Legal for several attorneys in both AZ and OH. In Grove City, OH she was the chorister for church services and choir. Music touched her heart and soul. She loved singing and participating in choir. She loved teaching 2-4yr children at church. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Linda is survived by her daughter Kristine (Josh) Strange, grandsons Samuel (11) and Edward (9) of Tacoma, WA. Her son Ian (Yee Ting) McCloy and grandson Cameron (1mo) of Manchester, England. Her sisters Bobbie Gay (Kelvin) Miller and Vicki Lane (Richard) Murray both in Cedar Hills, UT. Plus Nieces, Nephews, and many Cousins.
She is now reunited with her beloved dogs who were her companions: Debbie, Ginger and Sage.
