Linda D. (Cline) Blanton

Linda D. (Cline) Blanton, age 66, of Waverly, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at University of Cincinnati Hospital. Linda was born on February 15, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio to Raymond and Mildred Cline. She worked as a quality control coordinator for a cabinet company. Linda loved tailgate parties for the BIG Game Ohio State vs Michigan and she cheered on the maize and blue. She relished in their wins in the past several years. Linda was competitive when playing corn hole and horseshoes. She also enjoyed camping, swimming and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mildred Cline; husbands, Charles Wayne Blanton and John Fourne; sons, Charles Wayne “Baby Wayne” and Ricky Blanton; sister, Millie Walker and brother, Ricky Cline. Survived by children, Dottie Blanton (Joseph Owens), Bobbie (David) Walters, Dan (Heather) Blanton, Rocky Blanton (Mary Cooper) and Tiffany Lynn Blanton; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings, Mike Cline, Eddie (Cindy) Cline, Randy (Tina) Cline, Brenda (Mike) Fallon, Rocky (Debbie) Cline; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10:30 am – 12 Noon at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
