Lisa A. Nelson

Lisa was born April 15th, 1959 in Mercer, Pennsylvania, to Arthur Brandt, who preceded her in death, and Joan Woods, who survives.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her parents-in-law Richard and Joan Nelson; and nephew Clayton James Nelson.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rick Nelson; children Kristen (Nicholas) Weeden, Nathan (Katherine) Nelson, and Kaitlyn Nelson (Brian Cox); grandchildren Madison and Roarke; brother Michael Brant; brothers-in-law Mark (Melissa) Nelson, Scott (Karen) Nelson, and Matthew (Robin) Nelson; nieces and nephews Kinsey, Alexandra, Sydney, and Connor; dog Mingo; and grand dogs Harley, Izzy, and Nikita.

Lisa was all about her family, especially her grandbabies, and she never missed a family event. She enjoyed family vacations, especially the beach and most of all Topsail. She made lots of friends at Embroidery Design Group, where she worked for the past 20 years. She and Rick attended Scioto Ridge Methodist Church. Lisa was a people pleaser, always putting others before herself. Her smile and laughter touched so many.

Public Visitation will be held Friday, April 2, 2021, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 Perimeter Drive.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and space limitations, friends are encouraged to attend visitation to pay their respects to her and the family. All guests will be required to wear masks through the duration of their visit.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 3rd at 11:00 AM.
