Lucille (Lucy) Groff, age 92, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. She retired from Western Electric where she worked as a cable former for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oakley and Ellen Hartley; sisters, Nelda, Ellen, Maxine and Alice; brothers, Earl, Fred, Clarence, Bill, and Willard; daughter, Margie; sons, Danny and Keith; first husband, James Robert Groff. Survived by life partner, John Brandt; daughter, Debbie (Ken) Havely; son, Allen (Kay) Groff; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many others who shared in her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends 11am-1pm Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 1pm. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
