
Lydia N. Fox, age 87, of Columbus, died December 25, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Lydia was born January 26, 1922 in Columbus to the late Luigi and Luigia Campagna. Preceded in death by her husband, William J. Fox; sisters, Elda Serio and Mary Campagna. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, William P. and Hercilia M. Fox, Douglas O. and Katie E. Fox, and David A. and Barbara R. Fox; grandchildren, Jonathan, Kaitlyn, Andrew, and Darren Fox, and Keegan and Kelsie Shoemaker; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and James Behal; sister, Anna Glasstetter; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Apple, Mary Jane (Pat) Ramey, and Imogene Williams; and many nieces and nephews. She retired in 1991 from Nationwide Insurance Company with 38 years of service. Lydia was a member of Amici D’oro and the Griswold Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing euchre. Lydia’s greatest joy was her family, and they will greatly miss her. Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a prayer service at 7:30pm Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (Just South of I-270).
