Mabel Marie Campbell Willis

Mabel was born on January 2, 1923 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Ernest and Opal Virginia (Sims) Burkhammer. She passed away Tuesday February 12, 2013 at her home. She was 90.

She is preceded in death by her husbands John Robert Campbell in 1962 and Roy D. Willis Sr.

She is survived by her children John Robert (Virginia) Campbell of Virginia Beach, Mary Ellen (Ron) Mathers of Newark, and David Lee (Judy) Campbell of Kingsport, TN; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson; her sister Mary Ellen (Bill) Richards of Heath and her niece Jenny Mosgrove.

Mabel was a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church, enjoyed reading her bible, was the owner of the Attic Antique Shop in Newark for 27 years, worked as a secretary for the Moundbuilders Country Club and Licking Memorial Hospital, and never knew a stranger. She travelled often to see her family.
