

Madeline was born in Paden City, WV on February 6, 1925 to the late Daniel and Mazzie (Roberts) Cecil. She passed away at her residence on Monday while surrounded by family.
Madeline was an accountant and owner of Holeman’s Tax Service. She was a member of Cox United Methodist Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #85 in Newark. She enjoyed making ceramics, gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one son, Franklin Noland; daughters, Kathy Lowery and Suzanne (Jack) Ellis; sisters, Helen (Robert) Burgess and Margaret (Charles) Clegg; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Bill” Holeman; daughter, Mary Jane Galiher; son-in-law, Larry Lowery; three brothers and three sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Madeline to Catholic Social Services or the Salvation Army. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
