

Marilyn Meyer Ford, age 88, of Columbus, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Trillium Place. She was born November 19, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of the late Walter G. and Viola (Momsen) Meyer. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her children, Mary Kendall Ford, John M (Ruth) Ford and Sally (Tony) del Fierro; grandchildren, Alex, Daniel “DJ”, Sam, Morgan, Sarah and Kenny; great granddaughter Layla; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Besides her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John C. “Jack” Ford; son, William A. “Bill” Ford and two brothers, Art and Bill Meyer. She was a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She was a longtime member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, where Marilyn was active in numerous groups and studies. Friends may call from 2-3 pm Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Road, where a Celebration of Life Service will held 3:00 pm Saturday.
