Marilyn L. Smith

Marilyn L. Smith, age 82, of Lancaster, OH, died Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Main St. Terrace Care Center in Lancaster with family and friends by her side. She was born on September 16, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Elba Wayne and Mary (George) Kenney. Marilyn is survived by her sisters Donna (Ralph) Hughes and Phillis Jaccaud; several nieces and nephews; special longtime friend, Lynda McCoy and many friends. Thank you to Marcy (Paul) List and Gay Ferris for being there for our family during this time. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bobby” Kenney and brother-in-law, Bill Jaccaud. The family would also like to thank Fairhope Hospice and Main Street Terrace Care Center for their compassionate care of Marilyn. Marilyn was an avid OSU Buckeye football fan. Please wear OSU clothing in her honor. Go Bucks! Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, June 23, 2023 at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, 8029 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
