Mary Lou was born February 18, 1932 in Logan, Ohio to the late John Jacob and Viola Mae (Smith) Bachus.
Mary Lou was employed in the cafeteria at the Newark Air Force Base for a number of years. She enjoyed bowling, trap shooting, hunting and fishing.
She is survived by five children, Linda K. Hartshorn of Glouster, Brenda J. Brooks of Logan, Mary A. (Bernie L.) Yarnelli of Frazeysburg, Peggy L. (Buck) Haynes of Gainesville, Georgia, and Karl O. Brooks of Greenville, South Carolina; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Bachus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Kentrell Miller; and by four sisters and five brothers.
According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service observed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.
