Mary Marie Nicholson, age 83, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012. She was born in Columbus on February 4, 1929, to the late Paul C. and Mabel M. (Hicks) Wolff. She was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School. Mary worked for Westinghouse where she made many lasting friendships. In her later years, she worked at Doctor’s Hospital at the information desk. Mary volunteered her time at the VFW, and she enjoyed gardening and bird-watching. She is survived by her sons, Donald A. Nicholson, Jr., and Warren E. Nicholson; daughter-in-law, Kelley Nicholson; grandson, Andrew Nicholson; and sister, Phyllis Wolff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, as well as 2 brothers and 3 sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 State Route 3, Westerville. Arrangements by the Schoedinger North Chapel, (614) 436-9220.
