Mary Jane Ramey

Mary Jane (Fox) Ramey, age 83, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010. She was born in Columbus, OH on January 19, 1927 to the late William and Dora Fox. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Dick and Harold; sisters Helen, Anna and Peg. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty five years, Pat, childen Linda Caitlin Hysell, Patricia Ann Diamond and Thomas Patrick (Vickie) Ramey, grandchildren Zachary Schriner, Landon (Maggie) Ramey and Amanda Ramey, great grandsons Aidan, Tucker and Levi Ramey, sisters Dorothy Apple and Imogene Williams, numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Jane loved traveling the world with her husband, being with her family, her yearly Christmas Eve open house, mournful Irish music, winters in Ft. Myers, and taking care of her home and yard. Mary Jane never met a stranger. She was employed by Austin Knowlton for over thirty years. She always did her best and often went the extra mile. Her “Bucket List” was completed on 6/27/2010 when she was able to hold her three great grandsons. Mary Jane’s family would like to thank the staff at the Laurels of Norworth for the thoughtful, kind care they gave to her. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270) where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM.
