Mary V. Simon

Mary was a generous person always putting others before herself. She cherished her family and time she spent with them. Mary leaves behind a legacy of wonderful, happy memories. Mary was a loving woman with a strong faith. She was a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, in Gahanna, Ohio.

She is survived by her sisters, Amy (Vern Basilius) Pullen and Jean Blake; her children Mary Jo (Paul) Buckley, Madeline (Ed) Oakley, Paulette (Jim) Rector, Suzanne Rogers, Joseph P (Sue McMillen) Simon Jr., and George T. (Bernadette) Simon and; 13 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends, Sunday April 30, 2017, from 1-4pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230, where a rosary service will begin at 3:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday May 1, 2017 at 10:30am, at St. Matthew Apostle Church, 807 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, Ohio, 43230. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio.
