Mary J. Tompkins

Mary Tompkins, 64, of Columbus, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was born September 24, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to George and Margaret Ann Tompkins. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, George. Mary is survived by her wife of 31 years, Andrea “Andi” Darby; brothers Bill (Shirley) and Jerry Tompkins; sisters Loretta (Mike) Buty, Catherine, Lynne (Bud) and Lisa (Reggie) Tompkins; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; friends who were like family, Mary and Jerry Moro, Margaret (Mike), Antoinette (Tom), and Trina (Pat); and special friends Michele, Mary, Susie, Buckwheat, Julie, and Lisa. Mary was the joy of many people’s lives and she will be forever missed. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, 701 E. Columbia Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45215 or the OhioHealth Foundation.
