Matt was a lover of sports- He enjoyed watching baseball and hockey, especially the Detroit Tigers and the Columbus Blue Jackets, and playing disc golf with friends. Matt played AAA travel baseball and won 2 state championships with the Gahanna Lions. After High School, he worked as a bartender and was darn good at it! He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Matt is preceded in passing by his father, Tom DeVore.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kim Lozan; brother Jason (Khashi) DeVore; sisters Amanda Szilagye, and Sydney (Christopher) DeVore; nieces Jillian and Callie; nephew Tommy; and his faithful companion, Kemba.
Matt's family will welcome friends from 5pm-9pm on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. Other services will be private.
