Maxine Blankenbeckler

On Saturday July 24, 2021, Maxine Goodin Blankenbeckler, loving mother and wife, passed away at the age of 90. She was the first-born child of John Dan Goodin and Virgie B. Goodin. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Delmas Goodin and daughter in-law, Sandy Blankenbeckler. Maxine is survived by her husband, Ralph Bryan Blankenbeckler; sons, Jeff (Becky) and John Blankenbeckler; grandchildren, Aimee (Rob) Bang, Jennifer Spiker, Derrick (Jennifer) Kittredge, Cory (Emily) Blankenbeckler, Alyssa Blankenbeckler, and Logan Blankenbeckler; great grandchildren Beren and Caden Spiker, Elle Kittredge, and Jake Blankenbeckler; and siblings, Paul (Diane) Goodin, Betty (David) Bauer, and Nancy (Bob) Vick.

Maxine retired from Upper Arlington School Board as a teacher with a Bachelor of Education from Marshall University and a Master of Education from The Ohio State University. She resided in Florida for many years. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling. Maxine was married for 71 blissful years. She was a wonderful mother always putting family first. She had a loving heart and always enjoyed having family around.

Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on July 31, 2021 at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington, WV 25705. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Capital City Hospice.
