My daughters and I were neighbors to Mike and Ann From the time they moved into the neighborhood. They raised three great children. Mike was such a friendly neighbor. If he was mowing his yard and I came out into my yard he would shut off his mower to say hello and catch up on life. Last winter when we had a power outage in the neighborhood Mike went house to house to make sure everyone was OK and to see if they needed anything. He was a great guy and he will be missed. I’m thinking of you And your kids and grandkids Ann.

Knowing Mike is something I will always be grateful for. His quick wit, dry humor, and kindness always stood out to me. Scrabble games, riddles, dancing to Gladys Knight, his favorite joke; “What’s brown and sticky?” Though I hadn’t seen him in a couple years, I thought of him often. I hope he’s at peace wherever he may be in the universe, and my deepest condolences go to his entire family.

We lived next door to Mike and his family for 24 years before we sold our place just 2 months ago.  Our kids grew up with their kids and our dogs talked to his and vise versa...lol.  Mike was a terrific neighbor always ready with a slash of gas or an extra leaf bag or two right when you needed it.  He and I would often commiserate over the fence about our families, the neighbors and solve all the world problems...and he would always laugh!  My wife and I are big English tv fans and he would share about growing up in Bath in his cherished English accent.  Mike was a good egg and will be truly missed in the neighborhood!  Much love to his family and  thank you for so many years as great neighbors.

I worked with Mike for several years at the CMH program.   He was a great coworker,  and always willing to assist others.   We shared many laughs together,  especially in our weekly  CMACS meetings.   I send my sincere sympathy to his family.   I wish him eternal peace.

Mark Peters, Emily Ruggles and Roberta purchased the Beautiful in Blue for the family of Michael Mooney.

Mike and I worked together for most of his tenure at ODH and was my office neighbor for a good portion of his time with CMH.  We shared a lot of laughs and I always loved his infectious smile and positive attitude.  His passing is a very hard loss for us at CMH and we will miss him terribly.  My heart goes out to his family and I pray they find peace in the loving memories they shared with him.  Mike, I'll be thinking of you when I visit the UK and  your hometown of Bath.  I only wish I'd be able to get your advise on all the local pubs and attractions.  Rest in peace my friend!

CMH Program

Michael was a great help as we worked on the design of a database loosely premises on the one he used in BCMH.  He was always thoughtful, well-informed, and helpful to the discussion.  Once we met through the database experience, he was always a quick one to smile in the hallway or good for chatting up on a break.  We shared book suggestions and laughs, most often laughs.  I choose to remember his impish grin and the twinkle in his eye that let on what he thought about all the craziness surrounding our work … I will think of his family during the days ahead

praying for mikes family. He was very nice to me . when I asked some doubts for the work related stuffs , first he smiles to me then he explain to the question .He got lot of patience

Mike and I would be outside at the same time smoking a cigarette. He would talk about his wife planting things. He was always a bright and shining face. I did get to see him when i went into the office for a special project last year. My love and prayers go out to his wife and family. R.I.P. Mike.
