Michael J. Riggs

Michael J. Riggs, age 55, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 6, 2013 following a brief illness. He was born April 7, 1957 to the late Donald C. Riggs and Delores Moore; also preceded in death by his son, Matthew B. Riggs, brother, Ron Riggs and father-in-law John Myers. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Karen S. (Myers) Riggs; daughters, Kristin (Brett) Berman and Jennifer Riggs; grandchildren, Grace and Beckett Berman; sisters, Cheri Fraganato-Stockton, Linda (Harmie) Phillips and Debbie (Rick) Moore; half-sister Misty Sharpe, mother-in-law Julie Myers; brothers-in-law, Eric (Michelle) Myers and Brent (Ruth) Myers; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many special friends, including Bob and Gail Baker. Michael was the owner of Old World Furniture Refinishing and will be remembered for his heart of gold. He enjoyed being outdoors… fishing, camping, going to the beach, but above all, he treasured time spent with his family. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 pm, on March 16, 2013 at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 7121 Muirfield Dr., Dublin, OH 43017. There will be a reception following the service.
