

Michael Steven “Dozer” Wellman, 32, of Edison, OH died March 1, 2012. He was born November 25, 1979 in Columbus, OH to Steven and Kathy (Mitchell) Wellman. He was a graduate of St. Francis DeSales where he participated in band and drama and was attending Marion Technical College, working towards a degree in electrical engineering. He was a welder and team leader on the third shift at the weld shop at Emerson. In his youth he attained the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop #507 and most recently was vice president of the Sons of Armageddon Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, horseback riding, motorcycle riding and traveling to Alaska. He was happy, funny, had a heart of gold, would do anything for anybody and loved his daughter with all his heart. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife Jessica whom he married on August 25, 2007, daughter Payton, siblings Aaron (Mindy) and Katie, in-laws Becky and Tate Morgan, maternal grandfather Roger Mitchell, grandparents-in-law Harold and Nicky Milligan, niece and nephew Lance and Madison and a host of relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9571 N. High St., Lewis Center, OH 43035.
