Michele L Haughn

Michele L. Haughn (Whitmer), age 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on February 20, 2022 at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital due to medical complications. She was way too young to go, but faced her illness bravely. She was more worried about her family than she was about herself up until the very end! Michele was a giver and lived life to the fullest. She was always joking. She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where she owned her own cleaning business for 36 years. Preceded in death by her father, Carl Whitmer; mother, Juanita Kinney (Whitmer); sister, Sharon Noel; mother-in-law, Suzanne Edwards and father-in-law, Garland Edwards. Survived by lifetime partner, Doug "Jr" Edwards (her Dougie); loving daughter, Danielle (Nico) Easley; granddaughter, Destanee Patterson; sister, Rosann Watts (George Scott); brothers, Jim (Pam) Whitmer; Carl (Cathy) Whitmer, Jack Whitmer, twin brother, Mark Whitmer; mother-in-law, Doris Edwards; sisters-in-law, Pam (Billy) Remali, Beanie (Troy) Patton, Tonya (Brett) Tittle, Dodi (Glenn) Cassidy, Danny (Camika) Edwards; many nieces, nephews, family, friends and customers. She touched everyone she came in contact with! Family and friends will gather together to honor her life on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 2-6:00 pm at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204. After the service everyone is welcome to gather at the Grove City American Legion, 3363 McDowell Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
