Millard Haywood

Millard Franklin Haywood, age 79, born September 26, 1941 and died March 30, 2021. Frank was a very generous person who had never met a stranger. He worked for General Motors, retiring in 1995, and kept himself busy helping anyone who needed a hand. He will be missed by many who loved him very much.

Proceeded in death by his father, Glendon J Haywood, mother Thelma L Haywood, and first wife Mary, sisters Ruth, Joyce, Linda, Sharon, Rose and brother, Archie. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Haywood, children Misty (David) Burgess, Terri (Dennis) Dehner, Tammy Taylor, and Tom (Brenda) Stewart, grandchildren David, Lauren, Kaili, Luke, Tyler, Nick, and Blake, sisters Wanda Six, Mary (Bob) Ross, and Martha Fannin, brothers Joe (George Rivera) Haywood, Dennis (Debbie) Haywood; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 6699 High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43085 from 4-7 pm. There will be a private church service for immediate family only (due to Covid restrictions) at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 3, 2021, 7121 Muirfield Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017 at 9:30 am. Graveside services will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, Ohio at 10:45 am. All are welcome to join the procession from the church to the cemetery to celebrate Frank’s life, beginning at 10:00 am at the church.
