Milo was a born prematurely, but with such resilience and strength that nothing could keep him down. Despite lengthy hospital stays Milo persevered with a smile on his adorable face and strong will in his heart. Milo was a little guy with a big sense of humor whose magnetism drew friends to become family and stopped strangers on the street to remark at his wonderful, contagious energy. From the neighborhood park where he loved to swing, to the beaches at the ocean, Milo loved the outdoors, a walk in his stroller, the sunshine on his face, blowing bubbles and playing ball. His loving mother and father spent time with Milo in the best and most difficult moments of his life and provided him wonderful experiences they will cherish forever.
In addition to his parents, Milo is survived by his loving grandparents Robert and Janet Milan of Pittsburgh and Jan and Mark Davis of Columbus who will remember Milo among other things, as ornery. He is also survived by his great grandfather Paul Greene of Lima. Though his immediate family is small, he leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and a large group of friends and supporters who Milo considered family and whose feelings are mutual.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, from 3PM where a Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 5PM with Reverend Ron Davis officiating. The family has asked that memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to either Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA.org) or the March of Dimes.
