

Minette M. "Mickey" Coppola, of Columbus, Ohio (formerly from Chicago), at the age of 75, passed on April 26, 2017. She was born on July 15, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois and attended Calumet H.S. In 1974 she packed up along with her six children and relocated to Ohio for job opportunities in retail. She received her CDL license to drive the big rigs, opened and ran a restaurant for a short period of time on the west side of Columbus, called The Valiant, and eventually retired from Delphi (GM) in 2005. Preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Helen Coppola; three sons, Joseph, Michael, and Peter James Stegler; and grandchildren, Stephanie, Joey, and Jack Stegler. Survived by her son, Danny (Veronica) Stegler; daughters, Debbie (Michael) Falestra,, Mary (Traci) Stegler, and Helen (Jeff) Bragg; grandchildren, Michelle Stegler, David and Sarah Stegler, Nicole and Joey Falestra, Jeffrey, Olivia, and Lyndsay Bragg; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Summer, Aubrey, and Aiden; brother, Peter Don Coppola; sister, Helen (Irv) Kulhwine; niece, Jeanne Rue; and nephews, James and Joel Holland. Minette enjoyed coffee talks with family and friends. She loved laughing, dancing, and "silly goofy" moments with her grandchildren. She always looked forward to family gatherings and many pool parties with the grandchildren. There will be an abundance of memorable moments that we will continue to share with each other to keep her spirit alive! We will ALWAYS love and miss you! Fly High G-ma Mickey! Her memorial service, honoring her life, will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Her family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
