Nancy A. Baker

Nancy A. Baker, age 74, passed away at Friendship Village on Sunday, June 5, 2011. She was born in Columbus on September 2, 1936 to the late Alfred and Bettie Dean. Nancy was a very loving mother and grandmother. She had many interests in life, but above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an active, long time member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Homer and daughter, Theresa Bearden. She is survived by her sons, Michael S., Greg A. (Tonja), and Douglas E. (Andrea); 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings, Tom, John, Dave, Patti (John) Florkowski, Mary (Jim) Davis and Peter (Lucia), and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL 5554 Karl RD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 10, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Ave, Columbus, OH. Fr. Tom Petry officiating. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
