Nancy Ellen Barnett

Nancy Ellen Barnett, age 79, passed away peacefully in her home on March 18, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 29, 1939 to Lacy and Eloise Deeds in Huntington, West Virginia. Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law Doris (Harold) Callison and Betty (Bank) Callison, and her brother David Deeds. Nancy is survived by her sons Bob (Deirdre’) Barnett, Mark (DeAnna) Barnett, her daughter Karen (Chris) Larkin and her grandchildren Justin (Sarah) Larkin, Jonathan (Genevieve) Larkin, Jacob Larkin, Brianna (Demetrios) Festa, and Braden Barnett. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Donna Deeds and by many dear friends.

Nancy co-owned and operated Versatile Inventory Service for 25 years, then worked for Commercial Fire Protection/River Cities Fire Equipment in Huntington, WV, Krieger Ford in central Ohio and then proudly continued working with her daughter’s business ElemenOPillows long after she had officially retired.

A loving and dedicated mother to her children and a fiercely loyal, loving, uniquely witty and one of a kind grandmother to her grandchildren and their spouses. Nancy will be remembered for her unending loyalty to her family and friends, her candid sense of humor, her integrity and her strong faith.

At her request, a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice Vitas Healthcare in Dublin, OH in Nancy’s name.
