Nancy Elizabeth Cardinale-Donahue

She was born in Holland, MI on March 7, 1951 to the late Ward and Esther (Johns) Wheaton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Lois Ann Shultz and Frank Cardinale and family.

A graduate of Westerville South High School, Class of 1970, she retired from the Franklin County Board of MRDD, where she worked as a receptionist. She was a proud member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She lived life with a constant smile and a great attitude. If you knew her then you were blessed.

She is survived by son Marcus (Alexis) Goodrich; brother Robert (Carol) Wheaton; granddaughter Ashtyn Goodrich; cousin Carol Ann Folian; spouse Donnie Donahue; friends forever Lorraine Lucas, Brenda Gischel and Susan Dehart; as well as many other friends and family.

The family wishes to thank her doctors and all of the staff for the care, love, and honesty they provided. She lived her best life these past five months. She was loved and pampered and given the best care until she passed, surrounded by her loving family and care team. We will miss her smile and laughter that filled our home.

Please join a Celebration of Life on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1PM, with visitation prior from 11AM-1PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. Fr. Dennis Kigozi, Officiant. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital NICU.
