Nancy Louise Lutz

Nancy Louise Lutz, age 83 passed away on November 21, 2024 with her loving husband of 64 years by her side during her courageous 15 day battle from complications of Covid. During this time, we were blessed to have her sharp mind that was able to share love and memories with her family who traveled from afar to express their love.

She was born on September 12, 1941 in Covington Kentucky to Harry and Marie Lutz. She is survived by her husband, Calvin Lutz, Jr., Son Timothy Lutz and his daughter Jonna Lutz, Daughter Kelli (Michael) Kerns and their children Justin Martin (Kyleigh), Connor (Montana) Kerns, and Cameron Kerns, and their Great Grandchildren Azlyn and Ledger Martin.

She was lovingly referred to as “The Boss” as she helped her husband operate DaNite Sign Company, which they owned for over 30 years. Together they were active members of the Crossroads United Methodist Church and Capital City Corvette Club. She loved volunteering at their church’s food pantry when able. Nancy was a proud breast cancer survivor.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, OH 43221. A visitation will occur Monday, December 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 1100 S Hague Ave, Columbus, OH 43204. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 1100 S Hague Ave, Columbus 43204. Her interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy’s memory to the Crossroads Church Food Pantry.
