

Nancy Lynn Hunt-Monroe, age 66, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 28, 1953, a daughter of Carroll and Mildred (Parsons) Hunt. Nancy was a selfless person who cared for her family and friends endlessly. She had a close relationship with her mother and father. She spent her time doing countless activities, from cheering on the Cincinnati Reds with her dad, gardening with her mother and watching Fixer Upper with her grandchildren. Nancy always found so much joy in watching and supporting her grandchildren play sports. Nancy enjoyed warm weather and even spent parts of her life living in Texas and Florida. Not only was she a Cincinnati Reds fan, but an avid supporter of OSU Buckeyes Football. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Hunt; children, Jennifer (Josh) Healey, Johnstown, OH and Christopher (Niki) Monroe, Galena, OH; grandchildren, Sophia, Jace, Lynna, and Nash; father of her children and close friend, Ron Monroe; siblings, Steven (Patti) Hunt, and Carla (David) Murphy; aunt, Monnie Landis; and several nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll V. Hunt. Funeral Service will be held at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue on Tuesday December 17, at 1:00 PM, where family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Tuesday.
