Nancy Leanna Richard

Nancy Leanna Richard, age 80, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, May 2, 2022. Nancy was born in Morgantown, WV on October 10, 1941 to the late John and Mary (Farrar) Twyford. Also preceding in death was her son Brent Richard. Nancy was a graduate of The Ohio State University. Nancy has always been a care taker, with her personal life and her professional life. She worked as a home healthcare provider for many years and was the Director of Madison County Hospital for Physical Therapy. Nancy was a feisty lady who lived life to the fullest and could always make you laugh. She was a very strong and independent woman who loved her family very much and loved doing home improvement projects. Nancy will be deeply missed by her loving daughters Stacey (Jerry) Lents and Kristin Richard; grandchildren Kaley Lents, Julia Lents and Patrick Richard; brother Chuck Twyford; sister Joan Durnell; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loving dogs Muffy, Simba and Maggie. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221, where family will receive friends 1 hour prior from 2:00-3:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Columbus Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
