

Nannie Dado Simpers, age 89 of Columbus, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011. Nannie was born August 1, 1921 in Keystone, West Virginia, daughter of the late Louis and Teresa Dado. Also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Simpers, daughter, Teresa Estep, grandson, Bradley Kauffer, and great granddaughter, Precious Kauffer. Nannie was a very kind and loving woman who was known for being happy most of the time. She also was a very spiritual woman and attended Southwest Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to going to church, Nannie also enjoyed shopping, but most of all, she loved spending time with her large family. She will be missed by her children, Bill (Judy) Kauffer of Westerville, Jim (Judy) Kauffer of Columbus, and Linda (Benny) Freeman of Phelps, Kentucky; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Dado of Galloway and Darlene (Rodney) Estepp of Grove City; brothers, Victor Dado, Louis Dado, and Frank (Carol) Dado all of Galloway, Jim (Cathy) Dado of Pickerington, Ralph (Helen) Dado of Columbus, and Joe (Lera Mae) Dado of Freeburn, Kentucky; and many other extended family members and dear friends, especially Freddie and Terry Dutton. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, August 1, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where family will received friends from 2-6 P.M. Sunday. Rev.
