Naomi Louise Roberts

Naomi L. Roberts, 56, of Otisville, MI, formerly of Washington Court House, passed away January 18, 2016 at her home, after a courageous bout with breast cancer. She was born November 18, 1959 in Jamestown, OH, the daughter of Marvin and Beatrice (Stephenson) Roberts. She was preceded in death by her father; and father- and mother-in-law, Ernest and Louvenia Sackett. Naomi is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Larry Sackett; her mother, Beatrice Roberts; sisters, Ruth Stephenson, Garnet Ison and Patricia Burt; brothers, Paul (Deborah) Roberts and Tom (Lora) Roberts; step-children, Sandy (Terry) Church, Tony Sackett and Mitchell Sackett; grandchildren, Cody, Alyssa and Sarah; numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Cindy, in Florida.

Naomi was a 1978 graduate of Miami Trace High School. She had worked for Tropicana in Florida and American Airlines and GM in Ohio. Naomi loved her family, football, NASCAR, bingo and the color blue. She was smart and sassy; really enjoyed helping other people; and missed her special buddy, her Black Lab, Bear.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, with Pastor Laura Clark officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Circleville. Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, January 22nd at the funeral home.
