

She worked in catering for Big Bear Farms and also in retail at Rinks and Kmart. She was a member of Bethel International United Methodist Church. Jean was an avid baker and enjoyed cooking and doing ceramics. She enjoyed spending time with family and vacationing to Houghton Lake, MI and the Outer Banks. She was a loving wife and a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Aura (White) Rider and grandson, Joshua L. Carpenter. Jean will be missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Eugene; daughters, Pamela (Jim) Hoskinson and Terri (Carl) Carpenter, Son In Law, Doug Rider; grandchildren, Jason E. White, Nicole (Evan) Kready, Matt Hoskinson (Jen Wampler) and Thomas (Rachel) Carpenter; and great grandsons, Bentley E. and Jasper H. Carpenter, Aunt Anne Lou Riebel;
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Bethel International United Methodist Church, 1220 Bethel Rd., Pastor Mike Pratt, officiating.
