Nellie L. Wolfe

Nellie L. Wolfe, age 89, was welcomed home to the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 29, 2010. She was born February 22, 1921 to the late Clarence and Nellie (Pennell) Septer. Nellie was a long time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church with many good friends who cared deeply about her. One of her missions was to crochet baby blankets for the new babies in her family and in the church. This illustrated her favorite expression, “Jesus loves you”. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughters, Judy Wintle and Kathy Immel; and son, Bruce Wolfe. Nellie is survived by her daughter, Kaye (Bob) Colvin; grandchildren, Judy Schooley, Debbie Wintle, Michael Wintle, Kim (Tom) Baker, Amanda Wolfe, Christina (Dave) Rona, Robin (Mike) Reiterman, Kim Yenni, Eddie (Verna) Grace, and V.J. Vonley; many great-grandchildren and friends. Her life will be honored with a visitation 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 1 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad St. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of Odyssey Hospice for their excellent care.
